Math can be a bit overwhelming and frustrating, especially for students who already have a couple dozen Biology terms to learn. However, dihybrid probability is fairly simple and this worksheet allows students to perform dihybrid crosses. Determining multiple traits is not much more complicated than determining one trait and students can learn it quickly. This activity creates consistency in students’ understanding of trait probability and an easy way to remember the process.
This quick worksheet studies inheritance and probability. It should be done after a lesson on Punnett squares and Mendel’s probability and the activity should not take up an entire class period. This is an efficient exercise that will test the students’ understanding of multiple traits and inheritance.
